  3. "For proper operation,the following steps should be performed to  "
  4. "execute the ICHING program:"

  7. "1). Place the system diskette"
  8. "into drive A. Close the drive A door."
  9. "                                             "
  10. "2). Turn on the printer (if available) and set it"
  11. "in the online mode."
  12. "                                                              "
  13. "3). Type the following 'ICHING' (CR) Note:CR means "
  14. "Carriage Return."
  15. "                                                               "
  16. "4). The computer will prompt you with PLEASE TYPE IN YOUR FIRST NAME"
  17. "Depress the CAP LOCK key and type in your first name.  Hit enter"
  18. "and the following menu will appear:"
  19. "     1. EXPLANATION OF THE ICHING PHILOSOPHY"
  20. "     2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR RUNNING THE PROGRAM"
  21. "     3. DISPLAY HEXAGRAMS BY NUMBERS AND NAMES"
  22. "     4. PRINTOUT ALL HEXAGRAMS"
  23. "     5. ANSWER TO VARIOUS QUESTIONS"
  24. "     6. GENERATE YOUR OWN HEXAGRAM"
  25. "     7. LET COMPUTER SELECT A HEXAGRAM"
  26. "     8. SELECT A PARTICULAR HEXAGRAM BY NUMBER"
  27. "     9. SELECT A PARTICULAR HEXAGRAM BY NAME"
  28. "                                                      "
  29. "5). Make the appropriate selection and key it in.  An H will cause"
  30. "a hard copy printout and a S will direct the output to the screen."
  31. "                                                   "
  32. "6). When you wish to end the ICHING session, with the menu on,"
  33. "type Q (CR). You will immediately exit the program."
  34. ""
  35. " IF INSTALLING TO A HARD DRIVE, CREATE SUBDIRECTORY 'ICHING' "
  36. " COPY ALL FILES INTO 'ICHING' SUBDIRECTORY"
  37. " TYPE 'ICHING' TO START PROGRAM"
  38. " CONTINUE INSTRUCTIONS AS PER ABOVE."
